ANDY MEIOSIS formerly LJ/ LUMBERJACK Started to DJ and Produce in 1993, at the age of 13. Playing Hardcore, Happy Hard, Techno and Trance. Finding a niche at school parties as a Dj, quickly developed the skills necessary to play the rave scene.Completing Music Industry Skills at TAFE, he gained the knowledge and contacts to begin his professional music career. Refining his style to Techno and Hard Trance, he had his first release “Crackface Bitch” and “Beautiful Girl” on Red Ember Records in 1999. Studying at SAE (School of Audio Engineering) developed my insight into production and through the influence of friends, he finished his first Drum & Bass Album “Beyond Control”. Gaining several residencies and playing many raves, Acid Techno became a focus for the 3am – 6am time slot. Progressing into Hard House and Hard NRG brought those time slots forward and assured his position as a credible DJ.
Distancing, himself from the DJ scene, he went back to focusing on production and completed Cert IV in Technical Production and went on to produce a number of Techno, Acid Techno, House and Drum & Bass tracks leading to his second D&B Album “Numeracy”. Unable to shake the party, returned to DJ in 2006 armed with Breaks, Electro and D&B a perfect fusion of Techno and Break Beat to rock the dance floor!
